History
In 1995 Corey Congilio moved from his hometown of Phillipsburg, New Jersey to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to attend The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He was enrolled in the Music and Video Business program and graduated in 1997 with an Associate Degree in Specialized Business with an emphasis in audio engineering. During his enrollment, Corey began performing regularly throughout Pittsburgh, Ohio, and West Virginia. As a guitarist and vocalist, he has supported acts in genres from RnB, Country, Swing, Rock, and more. Experience playing these varied styles has contributed to Corey's unique approach as a player, composer, producer, and teacher.
Corey's work as a session musician can be heard on the Sounds page of this site. He has recently begun to produce local talent for album projects. Examples of these recordings can be previewed as well.
